THE PRINT COMANDER PRO STORY

Two Mistakes:

$3,273.54 Lost. One Solution. My dad ( La veta Sign Company) in La veta Colorado  and I have been in the printing business for over 15 years. On November 15, 2023, we opened The Personalization Station in Evans , Colorado – a true one-stop shop offering DTF, DTG, sublimation, embroidery, custom 3D printing, laser engraving, and vynl signage. We pride ourselves on handling everything and not overcharging our customers. But two costly mistakes over the past two years taught us an expensive lesson.

The First Disaster:$2,873.54

Two years ago, we had a corporate training event order. Custom t-shirts for their employees. Everything was set up perfectly – design approved, shirts loaded in our DTG printer, ready to go. But the printer had fallen out of calibration. We didn't catch it. The colors came out completely wrong. We didn't realize the problem until after the entire run was printed. Every single shirt had to be scrapped. Final cost: $2,873.54 in wasted shirts, wasted ink, and wasted time.

It Happened Again: Another $400** The second time, it was more DTG shirt problems. Another $400 down the drain. Total damage: $3,273.54

The Breaking Point

 After these losses, we took a hard look at how we were running our shop. We were juggling five different software programs: - DTG RIP Pro 10.3 (for printing) - QuickBooks (for accounting and invoicing) - Fusion 360 (for 3D design work) - Hatch Embroidery (for embroidery) - Lightburn (for laser engraving) None of them talked to each other. We were constantly switching between programs, manually entering data multiple times, and – as those two disasters proved – missing critical issues that cost us thousands. **7 Months Ago, We Started Building Print Comander Pro ** We couldn't find software that: - Actually monitored printer calibration to prevent disasters - Integrated all our shop operations into one system - Was built by people who understood printing, not just software development - Didn't cost thousands per month across multiple subscriptions So we built it ourselves. ChromaFlow is the complete print shop software we needed – one system that prevents calibration disasters, integrates everything from printing to invoicing to payroll, and actually understands how DTF/DTG/sublimation/embroidery shops operate. It's currently in working beta, and we're looking for 25 shop owners to help us test it and make it even better. We built Print Comander Pro because we needed it.
